Taking Care of Possessions - Reception

In reception, the children have been learning to follow rules and understand the importance of them in order to keep them safe. The children understand how to respectfully use equipment and how to treat the equipment after they have used it. 

Online Privacy and Safety - Year 2

In Year 2, students learned about staying safe online by understanding simple rules for using technology in different environments and settings. The children have focused on Privacy and Security settings. They can identify examples of personal information and describe trusted people who information can be shared with. The children can use simple ways to protect information by using passwords.

Online behaviour and conduct - Year 4

In Year 4, the children know how content posted may affect others and ways people can be bullied on a range of media. The children know how to get help for cyberbullying and how to block and report abusive users. The children have made posters displaying Helpline services who can support them. During discussions, children can explain ways technology can be distracting and identify when technology needs to be limited.

Online Critical Thinking - Year 5

In Year 5, pupils have been delving deeper into their understanding of e-safety. Children have explored a range of scenarios and came up with ideas about how they could stay safe if they found themselves in potentially dangerous or uncomfortable situations. The children have created Esafety displays in their classroom to remind the of the rules of how to stay safe when Computing.
